  • Snippets of my Phuket Trip

Guess many were curious about the things we did and the fun we had during our recent trip to Phuket, Thailand last week. We were there all the way from Thursday till Sunday morning.

It was the far best and most relaxing trip I've ever had and it felt almost like our mini honeymoon trip.

Read on, and you will know what makes me felt that way .

    Day 1:

We reached Phuket at around 1.30pm, and the journey took us close to 2 hours. I am pretty amazed by the overall coordination by Air Asia as there were surprisingly NO delay, NO hiccups and everything went smoothly as planned. It was way more messy when we took the flight to Bangkok with the same budget airline 3 years back. Guess time has changed and the prices are steeper too.

Reaching Phuket. Was amazed by the colour of the sea!

    IMG_2194

The above photo is a little blur as it was raining over at Phuket minutes prior to our too arrival.

We went to look for a cab to head straight to our hotel.
We never expect that the journey would took us an hour from the airport to the hotel!

Without hesitation, we went snapping non stop upon reaching the hotel .

    IMG_2197

Noticed the fresh flowers and hot towels on the table? Their presence is in every corner of the hotel, even in our room. You'll see.

    IMG_2198

    IMG_2199

We thought that we would need to squeeze the king size bed together with my parents intially as the additional room besides the Royal Suites was not planned. At all.

However, to our amasement and much delight, the hotel management agreed to let us have another connecting room next to our parent's suite. Wipee!!

Minutes before we finish gulping out of excitement, we were escorted straight up to our rooms by one of the staff.

Check out the breath taking views outside our main door

Were were speechless when we entered the room.
I shall let the photos do most of the talking

    Starting with the main door.

    Cant have this in Singapore.

    IMG_2220

    IMG_2223

The work station. Baby was glued to the PC ever since he found out that there's a free Wifi. The japanese door look alike next to him was another toilet which turns out to be our moisturizing room.

    IMG_2222

Let's move on to the kitchen. The door was hidden so were were albeit surprised when we realised that it was actually a kitchen behind it .

Sink and the stove! Omg. Unbelievable. Inside those drawers were tons of fork and spoons, whisky cups, plates, tea cups etc.

    IMG_2206

    Sink and Wine Chiller.

    IMG_2226

Fridge that comes with lotsa free mineral water provided by the hotel. Mind you that the housekeeper always ensures that there's enough water in the fridge for our consumption daily.

    IMG_2225

Next, we went on to explore the bathroom.

Walk in wardrobe attached to the main bathroom.

    IMG_2321

    Jacuzzi!

    IMG_2320

Double sink. This is what Baby wanted all along so we dont squeeze with each other sharing the same sink when we woke up in the morning.

    IMG_2319

The two photos of the toilet roll and folded handkerchief were actually taken from our mini room's toilet. I was pretty amazed by the little nitty gritty effort that they pay attention to. Some of these were actually things that we took for granted for each day.
For instances, they bother to fold the handkerchief into a pattern of a bird and they DO ensure that the hand towel will always have that bird pattern standing on top during every housekeeping!

Not only that, the front part of the toilet roll would be folded nicely like the photos below.

    IMG_2219

    IMG_2218

Normal sink, taken from our mini bedroom's toilet as well. Noticed that the toiletries that they used all came from Crabtree and Evelyn.

    Talk about branding huh?

    IMG_2216

Next, we went to check out the sweet heavenly balcony

My dad was the first person to open the balcony door.

    IMG_2207

We only managed to lounge there for a short while as its too windy, especially when night falls.

    IMG_2260

The leg rest broke due to the strong wind at night. You can imagine now, how strong the wind can be!

    IMG_2262

In case you were wondering how mini is our room, well I would rather explained that its not small as a matter of fact although mini was the word used to describe the overall size of the room, as it was relatively 'small' as compared to the royal suites .

    The first to concuss!

    IMG_2266

Not bad huh for a deluxe room?

    IMG_2259

We went straight to the beach after exploring the hotel rooms.
How can anyone resist not heading to the beach when one are surrounded by these magnificient view of the beach?

    Vuitton's arrival

               Vuitton's ArrivaL!

    Whippee!

After a pretty long wait, my goodies are finally here!  Burberry arrived yesterday (to be exact its on Sat) and then Vuitton, today! Sounds like those bags can fly do they?

I had to carry the bulky and super long paper bag around as it was baby's mini birthday celebration over at the loof bar. The whole place was only good due to its soothing ambience. What can you expect to see when are at a place where its surrounded by office buildings?

    Non other than:

    THE SKYSKRAPPERS!

    loof bar oudoor

  • Burberry blue label

Uber happy and sad at the same time.

Finally I've received my long waited burberry blue label from Japan. The parcel was rather huge, and I was not expecting something as big as that when i collected the item over at the post office this evening.

    Parcel

The reason for the big parcel? it was doubly wrapped with another package.

    IMG_2157

This is what you see after tearing off the first bulky layer.

    IMG_2159

    IMG_2160

Guess what? I've also received the citibank's premier miles card today!

You are allowed to visit to the exclusive lounge where only VVIP have access to in the airport transit twice a year, i guess. Pretty good card too I supposed, where you are able to redeem your points from your daily prucahses into Kris Flyer miles for a free flight.

Work has been tremendously tiring and taxing this week. Well, guess I have to relax to the maximum during our upcoming Phuket trip this Thursday.

My Dad's coming down tomorrow !

  • Hey Peeps!

How did you guys celebrate the mooncake festival? Well, mine didn't really went smoothly and as happier as the one I had last year. All thanks to the stupid arguments we had that night over some petty issue which I shall not mentioned.

This year was pretty special as we opt for the ice cream mooncakes instead of the traditional and uber famous 'big china' brand for both of our mum. Well, not really for both.. only my mum got the haagen daz ones . Well, like what they always say: its the thought that counts!

Its pretty expensive and not price worthy at all. A single mooncake which does not even have a real egg yolk inside cost us around $28+ per piece. I even overheard an auntie talking to her colleagues that she can actually purchased the whole tub of Haagen Daz with that amount of money! For christ sake, the 'fake egg yolk' in between the ice creams are made of :drum roll: Mango Sorbet! it tastes pretty weird as I opted for the cookies and cream. The flavors just doesnt blend in together.

Take a look at the actual size:

    IMG_2142

We did went down to absorb the atmosphere at the nearby neighbourhood park which is always so damn happening. All we did was this:

    Image123

    Image122

Yes. Nothing's more fun than to play with the candles and wax. Not till it burnt your hands! Instead of walking around like a zombie, holding the lantern, we sat on the bench, looking at childrens running about with their parents and dogs.. and our lantern apparently stays at one corner, like this:

    Image121

On a lighter note, I can't wait for my Phuket trip to come any sooner than next week! Let's just hope that the politics and riots are way over by then.

    Cheers!

    I'm Glad

I'm glad. I really am. No one could ever imagine the hard days when I was still with Livejournal. Its a pain in the S i am telling you!

Well, all those has officially came to an end. So here I am. In Xanga! I have to say, although it may seem to early to do so as this is only my first entry, I'm amazed by how easy the whole thing was! i am a indoubtly the worst HTML code solver ever, so never bother me with such stuff.

Okay! Back to entry proper huh!

Within this week alone, I am uber happy with my recent purchases of the oOOoh so luxurious Vuitton, not so real Burberry Blue label as well as the lately hit of the town, Agnes B. Splendid isnt it? When you can just splurge on yourself not having any thoughts at all about using the money to pay your school fees or whatever it may be! That sort of sum out that i've graduated! Hurray! No more porters five forces, no more swot/pest analysis, no more transnational/multinational organisation! NO MORE!

I shall post up some photos once I've eventually got the bag myself. yes. not yet. So be patient.

Oh ya, forgot to mention that baby looks damn hot in those shoes! Dont you think?

    IMG_2131

I find that my lappy was getting a little bit too bored. Its too plain and i wasnt sure if i was smart enough to stick those stoopid monkeys on it. Tell me what do you think?

    IMG_2135

    IMG_2133

Btw, me and my friends are planning to organise the hen party for our ta jie who will be getting married on 3rd Oct! Did I hear you ask whether will there be any stripper involved? Just wait and see!

    Cheers!
