Guess many were curious about the things we did and the fun we had during our recent trip to Phuket, Thailand last week. We were there all the way from Thursday till Sunday morning.
It was the far best and most relaxing trip I've ever had and it felt almost like our mini honeymoon trip.
Read on, and you will know what makes me felt that way
.
Day 1:
We reached Phuket at around 1.30pm, and the journey took us close to 2 hours. I am pretty amazed by the overall coordination by Air Asia as there were surprisingly NO delay, NO hiccups and everything went smoothly as planned. It was way more messy when we took the flight to Bangkok with the same budget airline 3 years back. Guess time has changed and the prices are steeper too.

Reaching Phuket. Was amazed by the colour of the sea!
The above photo is a little blur as it was raining over at Phuket minutes prior to our too arrival.
We went to look for a cab to head straight to our hotel.
We never expect that the journey would took us an hour from the airport to the hotel!
Without hesitation, we went snapping non stop upon reaching the hotel
.
Noticed the fresh flowers and hot towels on the table? Their presence is in every corner of the hotel, even in our room. You'll see.
We thought that we would need to squeeze the king size bed together with my parents intially as the additional room besides the Royal Suites was not planned. At all.
However, to our amasement and much delight, the hotel management agreed to let us have another connecting room next to our parent's suite. Wipee!!
Minutes before we finish gulping out of excitement, we were escorted straight up to our rooms by one of the staff.
Check out the breath taking views outside our main door
Were were speechless when we entered the room.
I shall let the photos do most of the talking
Starting with the main door.
Baby standing at the other end of the master bedroom to show how big it is from the other end
Living Room
Cant have this in Singapore.
NEA will come knocking on your door if if you do have such deco
(Still water trapped Aedes = Dengue)
A very huge dinning table comfortably for 8 person
The work station. Baby was glued to the PC ever since he found out that there's a free Wifi. The japanese door look alike next to him was another toilet which turns out to be our moisturizing room.
Let's move on to the kitchen. The door was hidden so were were albeit surprised when we realised that it was actually a kitchen behind it
.
Sink and the stove! Omg. Unbelievable. Inside those drawers were tons of fork and spoons, whisky cups, plates, tea cups etc.
Sink and Wine Chiller.
Fridge that comes with lotsa free mineral water provided by the hotel. Mind you that the housekeeper always ensures that there's enough water in the fridge for our consumption daily.
Next, we went on to explore the bathroom.
Walk in wardrobe attached to the main bathroom.
Jacuzzi!
Double sink. This is what Baby wanted all along so we dont squeeze with each other sharing the same sink when we woke up in the morning.
The two photos of the toilet roll and folded handkerchief were actually taken from our mini room's toilet. I was pretty amazed by the little nitty gritty effort that they pay attention to. Some of these were actually things that we took for granted for each day.
For instances, they bother to fold the handkerchief into a pattern of a bird and they DO ensure that the hand towel will always have that bird pattern standing on top during every housekeeping!
Not only that, the front part of the toilet roll would be folded nicely like the photos below.
Normal sink, taken from our mini bedroom's toilet as well. Noticed that the toiletries that they used all came from Crabtree and Evelyn.
Talk about branding huh?
Next, we went to check out the sweet heavenly balcony
My dad was the first person to open the balcony door.

We only managed to lounge there for a short while as its too windy, especially when night falls.
The leg rest broke due to the strong wind at night. You can imagine now, how strong the wind can be!
In case you were wondering how mini is our room, well I would rather explained that its not small as a matter of fact although mini was the word used to describe the overall size of the room, as it was relatively 'small' as compared to the royal suites
.
The first to concuss!

Two 'Barely can make it' models:
Not bad huh for a deluxe room?
We went straight to the beach after exploring the hotel rooms.
How can anyone resist not heading to the beach when one are surrounded by these magnificient view of the beach?
The very first sign we saw as soon as we reached the beach

Lonely dog who treats everyone like its owner.

Guess I'll stop here and I shall continue with day 2 and 3 in my next postings. Too many photos to be uploaded.
